چکیده
Abstract In this paper, the mechanical properties of pre-cracked high nitrogen steel specimens with different loading angles 30°, 45° and 60° were studied by using Hopkinson tension bar. The corresponding force-displacement curves under obtained. It was found that decrease pre-crack angle, proportion shear stress on in composite gradually increased, concentration appeared during process, fracture strength decreased significantly. At same time, however, dispersion experimental results decreased, morphology tended to be consistent elongation at break. obtained combined can provide reference basis for its technological improvement, safe production reliable application

Experimental investigation of mechanical and dynamic impact properties of high strength cementitious composite containing micro steel and PP fibers
Cementitious composites are one of the most consumed construction materials in the world. The use of cementitious composites is increasing due to their special characteristics. The behavior of high strength cementitious composites is improved by increasing the fiber percentage. In the present paper, the effects of steel microfibers and polypropylene fibers on mechanical properties and impact re...
متن کاملEffect of Defects on Mechanical Properties of Graphene under Shear Loading Using Molecular Dynamic Simulation
Graphene sheet including single vacancy, double vacancy and Stone-Wales with armchair and zigzag structure was simulated using molecular dynamics simulation. The effect of defects on shear’s modulus, shear strength and fracture strain was investigated. Results showed that these shear properties reduce when the degrees of all kinds of defects increase. The dangling bond in SV and DV defected gr...
متن کاملMechanical behaviour of TWIP steel under shear loading
Twinning induced plasticity steels (TWIP) are very good candidate for automotive industry applications because they potentially offer large energy absorption before failure due to their exceptional strain hardening capability and high strength. However, their behaviour is drastically influenced by the loading conditions. In this work, the mechanical behaviour of a TWIP steel sheet sample was in...
متن کاملMechanical Behavior of BFRP-Steel Composite Plate under Axial Tension
Combining the advantages of basalt fiber-reinforced polymer (BFRP) material and steel material, a novel BFRP-steel composite plate (BSP) is proposed, where a steel plate is sandwiched between two outer BFRP laminates. The main purpose of this research is to investigate the mechanical behavior of the proposed BSP under uniaxial tension and cyclic tension. Four groups of BSP specimens with four d...
